Job Description |
|
The LTE Trial & Pilot Team within Radio Access RD SyVe prepares and executes customer trials and supports during piloting for the new Radio technology LTE. For the Trials the target is to provide the customer at a very early stage of the project insight into functionality, and therewith demonstrate our competitiveness in that new technique. The results of the Trials directly impact the decision process of the customer and finally lead to a decision whether NSN would be set on a short list. For the Piloting process we will support the customer while executing their test cases on their sites. The success at customer’s site will directly influence the internal P8 milestone. Besides the provision and testing of a Trial/Pilot test scope, the LTE trial team will additionally focus on enabling of local staff as well as on site support for customer teams. You will work in a team of technical experts. Your key responsibility will be: - analysis of feature content of related Trial/Pilot release and definition of a scope of work of the test areas Call Processing and/or O&M and/or Transport - preparation and execution of customer Trials and Piloting, in NSN premises as well as on customer site - Definition of Trial and Pilot content in cooperation with development, Project Management and Sales - Problem solving in close cooperation with development and customer - enabling of local staff |

Additional Requirements |
|
To fullfill all these responsibilities it is necessary to have a broad knowledge in radio environment especially in: - expert knowledge in LTE( preferred FDD) and/or 3G-WCDMA technology - several years experience in system verification of Mobile Networks for CP and/or O&M and/or Transport - several years experience in IP network basics (TCP/IP Protocols, IP Routing, Tracing) - knowledge of test tools and methods - preferred would be experience in customer acceptance testing - ability to work with different cultures - Education: BSc, MSc or PhD in Engineering or Technology, or equivalent skills - Fluent English, both written and spoken.
